Hey babes ✨ I wanted to take a moment to look back at how I made my dream come true — the messy, magical, and totally worth-it journey that made Brig Chic what it is today.
I’ve lived in South Jersey my whole life, so you might know me from somewhere — maybe from my NBC40 Entertainment News days where I covered everything “Hot N’ Happenin’” around Atlantic, Cape, and Cumberland counties, or maybe you’ve seen me talking to myself in the mirror on one of my reels 😂 Either way, welcome — I’m so happy you’re here.
But my story started long before Brig Chic. I began my career as an Entertainment Reporter at NBC40, chasing stories and soaking up everything about media, storytelling, and connection. When the station closed, I pivoted to the insurance world — not exactly E! News, I know — but that’s where I really honed my sales and marketing skills. It taught me how to build relationships, earn trust, and show up with confidence (skills I use every single day at Brig Chic).
Then life threw me a few curveballs. I went through a divorce, became a mom to my amazing son Declan, and decided to bet on myself. I started my first boutique, Jax Boutique, right out of my house — hauling racks of clothes to markets all over South Jersey and taking photos outside because my home wasn’t exactly “Pinterest perfect.” 😅 It was chaotic, exhausting, and honestly? The best decision I ever made.
Every lesson, late night, and leap of faith led me right here — to owning Brig Chic Boutique. What started as a small dream has grown into such a vibe — a place full of style, laughter, and confidence. Every “I love this store!” and every smiling face that walks through the door makes it all worth it.
